How I do things…
My passion is helping clients strengthen and nurture their most important relationship: the one with themselves. I want you to know and like yourself so that you may foster deeper and more meaningful relationships with those who are important to you and, ultimately, lead a more fulfilling life.
I describe my approach as "holistically eclectic" drawing from a variety of evidence based treatment modalities and tailored to each client's specific needs. I typically use elements of person-centered, emotionally-focused and psychodynamic therapy mixed with attachment theory, and sprinkled with a little grief-work.
During our time together I hope you feel understood, cared for and respectfully challenged. I describe my interpersonal approach as: chill, real, and occasionally funny. I aspire to create an honest, heartfelt relationship with my clients so that you may freely explore the impact of early relationships, process and heal trauma, foster self-compassion, build resilience, and learn to trust your instincts!

When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with my family—my husband, daughter, three dogs, and two cows—or tending to my flower garden. I also love catching up on British TV shows, rereading my favorite books (Harry Potter holds a special place in my heart), and planning my next “big thing.” To recharge, I enjoy traveling, relaxing in long hot baths, and curling up on the couch with a good book or a conversation with friends.
